On July 6th, 2018, Ambassador Kapur called on the
President of India Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati
Bhawan in Delhi and sought his guidance and support
for further enhancing the multi-faceted India-Bulgaria
relationship. President Kovind’s visit to Bulgaria will be
the first state visit from India after 2003.

жекция на речта на премиера Моди пред Defence
Expo 2018 в Ченай, Индия, за представители на
компании в сферата на отбраната. В словото си
посланик Капур изтъкна огромните възможнос-
ти, които индийската правителствена инициати-
ва Make in India предлага в областта на съвмест-
ното производство.
On April 12th, 2018, the Embassy organised a
screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address
at the Defence Expo 2018 in Chennai. It was attended
by representatives of companies dealing in defence
products. Ambassador Kapur highlighted the enormous
opportunities the “Make in India” initiative offers for
defence co-production.

На 13 април 2018 на среща на посланик Капур с
управителя на област София Илиян Тодоров бяха
обсъдени въпроси, свързани с инвестициите, тури-
зма, студентския обмен, програмата ITEC. Бяха на-
белязани и конкретни инициативи в тези сфери.
On April 13th, 2018, Ambassador Kapur had a produc-
tive meeting with the Governor of Sofia Region, Mr
Iliyan Todorov. Tourism, student exchanges, ITEC and
other issues of mutual bilateral interest were discussed
and initiatives agreed in these fields.

На 27 април 2018 посланик Капур се срещна с кмета
на София Йорданка Фандъкова, за да обсъди ини-
циативи за сближаване между двете страни, вклю-
чително издигането на централно място в София на
паметник на Махатма Ганди, в сътрудничество със
скулптора Иван Русев и Клуб „Приятели на Индия“.
Бе постигнато съгласие за съвместно сътрудничест-
во в сферата на бизнеса, туризма, образованието и
културата.
On April 27th, 2018, Ambassador Kapur met Mayor
of Sofia Ms Yordanka Fandakova to discuss initiatives
that would bring the people of Sofia and India closer.
They agreed to work on cooperation in business, tour-
ism, education and culture, in particular the installa-
tion at a premier public location in Sofia of a Gandhi
statue in cooperation with sculptor Ivan Rusev and the
Friends of India Club.
