During her visit in Sofia Minister Lekhi interact-
ed with the Indian diaspora in Bulgaria, attended as
a Chief Guest the Indian dance performance “Mala”
dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Indian Studies
at the Sofia University, paid floral tribute at the statue
of Mahatma Gandhi in Sofia South Park, visited the

Living in Bulgaria. Meenakashi Lekhi shared that she
was delighted to be in the Republic of Bulgaria, was

collaboration, as well as to see the admiration of Bul-
garian people towards Indian culture, and to know
that Yoga and Ayurveda are immensely popular with
the people of Bulgaria.
