President Kovind addressed professors,
students, academics and distinguished members
of the scientific and artistic circles in Bulgaria
at the packed Aula Magna of Sofia University,
and spoke on “Education as an Instrument of
Change and Shared Prosperity” paying tribute
to Indian teachers and scientists for making
India a Knowledge Power. The Indian President
was welcomed in Bulgarian, Hindi, Sanskrit and
English by students from the Indology depart-
ment of SU. The event was hosted by the Rector
