International Day of

Yoga 2019 in Bulgaria

From June 15 to 23, 2019 Bulgaria
marked the 5th International Day of
Yoga in 40 towns and 3 villages. The
event in Sofia was held on June 16, at the
National Palace of Culture. The Vice-
president of the Bulgarian National As-
sembly Ms Nigyar Sahlim Dzhafer was
guest of honour. The East-West Indologi-
cal Foundation, Bulgarian Yoga Federa-
tion, Bulgarian Association Ayurveda,
Devam Foundation and Association In-
dia were key partners to the Embassy of
India in Sofia in the organisation of the
day-long program which was rounded
up by a much acclaimed Kathakali per-
formance.
