I would like to congratulate the Friends of India Club and the Indology Department of the Sofia University on the launch of web magazine „Literary Svetlnik”!
Bulgarian Indology scholars have long been doing excellent work in translating classical and modern Indian texts. With a commonly available outlet such as the Internet, their efforts can now be appreciated by an even greater number of people – many of whom might not have had previous exposure to Indian literature. I am therefore very happy to see this project completed. Hoping that the „Literary Svetilnik“ continues to grow and develop in the future,
